It is obviously, the bible margin between depiction from paradies up to timestamp of Noah`s Ark the beginning not only in the past a time of Beginning humans morality depiction. As well, the task of past and also his historys, in depths of subconscious of humans would therefor gibe possibility a Sense for the rights and wrongs installation in Humans.
An international study together with Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich shows: the appreciation of morality is not inherent.
Munich, November, 27, 2024 – the Question if morality is inherent, is a part of developmental psychology which is discuss since decades. Yet gaves it contradictory findings, whereby a range of study suggest, small children already a appreciation to have for situations, in which trade with morality is necessary and they favor figures they are good. This argument was an in past an evidence of a inherent of morality.
Now, Teams of Researchers arround the globe collaborates as a part on an study of replication previous findings to testing again. Totaly, they puplicated in the Magazine on Development Science shows: „It gives no Evidece for inherent morality. Childs under ten month could make no difference between a good or a bad tradings“, tells Professor Markus Paulus, owner of professorship for Development psychologie and pedagogical Psychologie on LMU Munich.
International Study on replication, innovation approach
More as 1000 of childrens in the age from 5,5 up to 10.5 month was a part of the Study. Thereselfs would in an experimental scene of situations simulated with figures, with differently cautious: Sometimes the helped others, to climbing an Mountain, sometimes they to hamper this and jostle they down.
After them, die Children has the choice between both of figures. Prior results has intimating, already babies are wanna have, prefered the helpfully figures. This wass now the biggest study and it was showing, arround the half of the childrens decides for the helpfully figure. The others decieded for the jostle they down. „The childs shows no prefer for figures, they are Trading in prosocial and helping an other one“, tells Markus Paulus.
The study involved 40 developmental psychology research teams from all over the world who specialise in observing children’s behaviour in experimental settings. In addition to Markus Paulus‘ laboratory, Dr Tobias Schuwerk’s team at LMU was also involved. According to Markus Paulus, the idea of the global collaborative project on infant research is very innovative and promising in terms of verifying findings.
In addition to LMU, the following German institutions were involved: the University of Bochum, the University of Göttingen, the University of Leipzig, the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin and the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig.
Moral concepts sometimes arise from religious storytelling as well as from abstractions of it. According to the biblical account, the expulsion from paradise marks the beginning of a period of man’s awareness of injustice, which was to result in his near extinction. It was only through the building of the ark and thus the salvation of the one human couple who were morally good from God’s point of view that an eternal covenant between God and man was to be created. The question of free will and God’s desire to create a morally unobjectionable life is presumably expressed here to be able to lead. Judging by this, it is God’s wish and purpose to lead people to Himself. Contrary to what religion often portrays, it is man who has separated himself from God. In this way, the potential of the necessary saviour can be created. A paradox for human motivation.
The forms of guilt are probably determined by the preceding stories that present themselves as good or bad conscience and cause moral pressure. Later, as the Bible presents it, the act of forgiveness will arise. The earliest foundation stone for this later act could have been at the time of the building of the ark. Several different sources claim that the actual act of retribution through the birth of Jesus is foretold more than 700 times in the Old Testament.
The possible first time, the serpent supposedly saves the downfall of the ark (ark stands for new beginning) by filling a hole in the hull with its body. Prior to this, the serpent is regarded as the actual temptation to sin in paradise. It first seduces the woman, who then seduces the man. Subsequently, each of the three parties receives punishment according to the severity and appropriateness of their offences.
The meaning of this act can usually be understood in many ways. However, because religious books are regarded as prophecy, the behaviour of people, the fall of man and salvation are obviously to be understood as equally predetermined.
A sense of morality could develop in children between the ages of 1 and 3. This concerns the time between the psychosocial conflicts of primal trust vs. primal mistrust (incorporation phases) and autonomy vs. shame and doubt (the first separation phase) researched by Erikson.
