Gießen, September, 03th 2024. Two Humans sitting near by near and viewing for an Film. Do they see the same or both see or differently things? Researchers of the Justus-Liebig-University by Gießen has examined what perspective of glance to cause. Movements of Eyes guided to different versions of the same film in our heads. The results are published in Special Journal „Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences“ (PNAS).
Actually every viewer has an own varity of movie in his head, every brain experienced an own version of movie. Feet, Hands, Nose or ears – body from Humans has always same parts of body, but the anatomie are very differently from human to human. That also have validity for the brain and they model of aktivitys.
Both reasearchers Petra Borovska and Prof. Dr. Ben de Haas from depratment for general psychology by Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (JLU) utilise functional magnetic resonance imaging and learning with machines to make this brain acivitys comparefully. With this kind of technology has been follows from individual movements examined.
„Movements of views was traditional always a part of reactions of this, what we had in front of our eyes to see“, explained de Haas. „but by now we have the knowledgement, thats not all. Movements of views are also so individual like probertys of humans. Some peoples have they own focus more of faces in opposite, others of text and other details.“ Borovska added: „We have the assumption, this individualls movements of views goes to an unique World in the brain of Humans guided. But we have to know now: Thats correct! We could prophethie, how much are differently activitys of brain, when we made an separately experimental with some days between the experienced. It was amazing, Moevements of views will guided to more neuronality activity, but this activitys simultaneously less comparefully. Usually a strong signal means clearaly datas, but here is the signal, the repräsentation of the movie, are differently, a kind of Art directors cut of individual brain.“
The teams explores currently, how the movements of views in the cicle of life are developed and how is our understanding of scenes and also daily tasks have influences. „We have so much explore“, means de Hass. „We could ask our neighbour in the cinema: „How you have seen this movie?“
