Electronics komponents with his particular Proberties have to made for requirements for daily live adapted. One of this problems arround this, is cleaning and maintain of clothes with an electronical inlays like electrically conductive material or conductive yarns or sensors. The University of Niederrhein will be on working on the nex common years together with cooperation partners.

For the University of Niederrhein, which place is in Mönchengladbach, Norhrhein-Westfalia, it would be an challenge textils to produce in a kind of sensors inside, conductive materials or other components to clean up and maintance, that they have a long live and stay protectionfull.
The University of Niederrhein (HSNR) and five Partners more will be working two years together in research of this area. In a tie-in-project called, „Verkapselungsmaterialien und Prozesse für E-Textilien (ENAMEL)“ they developed high-precision encapsulaions, in which they enclose electronics and texile elements and thereby secure protecionfull made.
The Challenge is high complex, in the case elctronical components getting in the clothes build-in, the surfaces are often not homogenous. ENAMEL will have simultaniously coating two dimensional leadtextils, and three dimensional electronic under support of Lamination- and Technologie of coatings have to develop, testify and analytical.
While the Fraunhofer-Institut by dependability and Microintegration (IZM) his professional developing has in isolation of small electronical components like LEDs on substances, encapsulate of conductive yrans it is by Developing institute for Textil and Clothes (FTB) of University Niederrhein.
